Charts by NursLife is designed to help nurses simplify personal shift notes, vitals tracking, medication lookups, and general clinical organization. It is not a medical record system and is not intended for entering, storing, transmitting, or referencing Protected Health Information (PHI) as defined under HIPAA.
2. Privacy & Data Protection
2.1 Your Privacy Matters
- Charts by NursLife collects only the minimum personal information required to operate your account (such as your email and app settings).
- Simptiva Cloud, LLC does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
2.2 Absolutely No PHI Storage
To protect both you and your patients, PHI must not be entered anywhere in this app. Users are prohibited from entering:
- Patient names or initials
- Dates of birth or exact dates of service
- Room numbers, bed numbers, or patient locations
- Medical record numbers
- Contact details
- Any detail that could reasonably identify an individual patient
Charts by NursLife is intended for general clinical notes, shift summaries, symptom descriptions, and non-identifiable information only.

- All user data stored within Charts by NursLife is protected using industry-standard encryption and secure storage methods.
- However, no digital system is completely risk-free, and users should always avoid entering sensitive information.
